Welcome to my microbakery! As a passionate home baker and full-time programmer, I started this small-scale bakery to share my love of handmade, wholesome treats with my local community. Here, I specialize in sourdough breads, muffins, and scones—all made with time, care, and quality ingredients. The bakery operates under Virginia’s Cottage Food Laws, which allow me to bake from my home kitchen and offer delicious, fresh goods directly to my neighbors. This project is a way for me to bring some warmth and joy into the neighborhood while working around my 9-5 job.

Baking is my creative outlet and a way to balance my workday. While I code by day, my early mornings and evenings are spent nurturing sourdough starters, mixing batters, and shaping dough by hand. Sourdough has a special place in my heart for its complexity and natural, slow fermentation, which adds a unique flavor and texture to each loaf. The muffins and scones I bake are inspired by seasonal ingredients and classic flavors, adding a bit of comfort to any breakfast table or coffee break. The process is both challenging and rewarding, allowing me to pour my care into every batch I bake.

As a microbakery, this operation is small and local, with a focus on sharing more than selling.
